Breeda Jayasuriya, the mother of Sri Lankan cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya, passed away at the age of 80.
She died in a private hospital in her native Matara.
It is reported that Sanath Jayasuriya, who had gone to America as a consultant coach for the Sri Lankan cricket team, will return to Sri Lanka with the news.
