Thirty students from a school in area 5 in Muthur were attacked by wasps, according to local police.
The incident occurred when a group of students, who were attending an extra class for evening Grade Five scholarship examination preparation, accidentally disturbed a wasp nest in a neighboring house. The school’s students and their teacher were affected by the attack.
A total of 22 male students, 8 female students, and the teacher have been admitted to Muthur Hospital, where they are currently receiving inpatient treatment.
