Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) owner Kavya Maran and popular Indian music composer and singer Anirudh Ravichander are reportedly set to marry in November 2026, with the wedding plans attracting significant attention across India’s cricket, music and political circles.
The reports gained momentum after Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was reportedly invited to the couple’s wedding reception by Kavya’s parents, Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Kavery Maran.
Following the reported confirmation, wedding invitations have reportedly been extended to several prominent political figures, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay.
According to Indian media reports, the wedding ceremony is expected to take place in Greece on November 11, while the reception is reportedly scheduled for November 21 in Chennai. However, the couple has not officially announced the full wedding arrangements.
The wedding speculation has also drawn attention to a separate invitation making headlines online. A handwritten invitation from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin for his granddaughter’s wedding has reportedly gone viral on social media.
Kavya Maran is one of the most recognisable figures in the Indian Premier League (IPL), regularly appearing at Sunrisers Hyderabad matches and player auctions. She plays a prominent role in the franchise, which is owned by her family’s Sun Group.
Anirudh Ravichander, meanwhile, is among India’s leading music composers, known for blockbuster soundtracks for films such as Jailer, Jawan and Leo. He first gained international recognition through the viral hit Why This Kolaveri Di.
Rumours about a relationship between Kavya and Anirudh attracted widespread attention in 2025, although the composer dismissed marriage speculation at the time. The rumours resurfaced in June 2026 following comments reportedly made by his uncle, actor Y. G. Mahendran, suggesting that the composer was preparing to marry Kavya.
The reported wedding is now drawing attention as a high-profile union between the Indian cricket and music industries. Nevertheless, neither Kavya Maran nor Anirudh Ravichander has publicly confirmed the wedding date, venue or complete arrangements.
