The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced accelerated efforts to finalize university cut-off marks. According to the UGC, 87,000 students have applied for university admission, with over 43,000 expected to secure a place.
Despite these efforts, the UGC faces challenges due to a staff shortage. To address this, several universities are in the process of appointing additional officers to assist with the admissions process.
The UGC plans to release the cut-off marks by the end of next month.
