In front of the Department of Examinations, parents gathered today (18) to demand that the recently held 5th Grade Scholarship Examination be canceled. The department’s decision to remove three questions from the exam’s first paper in order to modify the final marks sparked the complaint.
While the protest is still going on outside, a group of parents was permitted to deliver a letter inside the department. Tensions are rising, therefore police and anti-riot teams have been sent to the location.
The parents who are protesting have voiced their disappointment, demanding the resignation of the Examination Commissioner and asserting that he has not taken the matter seriously.
