Mikhail Jayaweera and Ruel Wickramaratne, two Sri Lankan divers, established themselves on the world scene by taking home gold at the 14th Singapore National Diving Championships. Securing first place for their nation, the boys’ A and B division competitors in the synchronized platform event put on an incredible show.
Held at the OCBC Aquatic Centre starting on August 30, the championships featured 63 participants from four Singaporean teams and four overseas teams. This event highlighted the spirit of friendly competition and promoted friendship among participants as it acknowledged the talent and sportsmanship of divers from all over the world.
