Officer Cadet Mohammed Aneek was formally commissioned as an officer at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, however he has since been reported missing. Sri Lankan officials are currently expecting information on him.
After completing a demanding 44-week training program at the esteemed military institution, Aneek was commissioned on August 9 during the Sovereign’s Parade, a momentous occasion that signifies the conclusion of officer cadet training.
Aneek was expected to return to Sri Lanka after leaving the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst after the event. Even though the Sri Lankan embassy in the UK offered to help with his transportation to the airport, he chose not to board his aircraft.
