Apple unveiled its latest iPhone 16 series during the “It’s Glowtime” event hosted on Monday (8) at its Cupertino headquarters, unveiling a significant new feature: Apple Intelligence. This new AI-powered system is Apple’s most ambitious stride forward in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The new iPhone 16 lineup—which includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max—was created from the bottom up with Apple Intelligence at its core. According Apple CEO Tim Cook, this integration will reveal “breakthrough capabilities,” improving the user experience through improved AI-driven functionality. The gadgets include better silicon and a dedicated hardware button for accessing AI functions.
In addition to the new iPhones, Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 10, which now has sleep apnea detection, and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, which comes in a new color. The event also saw the launch of the AirPods 4, with one version providing active noise cancellation and the revised AirPods Pro offering hearing tests and a new hearing aid feature.
These enhancements are part of Apple’s larger plan to improve accessibility, particularly for customers with hearing impairments, demonstrating the company’s dedication to developing more inclusive technology.
