This morning (05), there was a severe traffic delay on the Southern Expressway due to a truck that flipped close to the 95 km post between Pinnaduwa and Imaduwa. Police reports state that a burst tire was the cause of the accident.
In response, heavy vehicles heading from Colombo to Matara are recommended by the Road Development Authority to get off at the Pinnaduwa Interchange in order to prevent further traffic.
