The Election Commission has announced that the deadline for submitting cash deposits for the upcoming presidential election is tomorrow, August 14.
As of now, 32 candidates have paid their cash deposits. Among them, 17 are affiliated with recognized political parties, while 15 are independent candidates.
Nomination acceptance for the presidential election will commence tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until 11:00 a.m. A special security and vehicle plan will be in place to facilitate the smooth operation of the election office during this period.
