Representatives from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) visiting the island are scheduled to meet with President Ranil Wickramasinghe today (01). Minister of State for Finance Shehan Semasinghe stated that the discussions will be held this morning.
Minister Semasinghe emphasized that the government is committed to maintaining the country’s economic stability without any interruptions, even during the election period. The program aimed at economic stability will continue without delay, ensuring no displacement despite the ongoing elections.
