Israeli security forces, reportedly with support from the United States, have successfully killed Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas’s political wing, at his residence in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Unofficial media sources confirm the operation, highlighting its precision and international collaboration.

Ismail Haniyeh, who led the political wing of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, had homes in both Iran and Lebanon. He was in Tehran to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Masoud Pezeshkian, the newly elected President of Iran. This incident has further complicated ongoing negotiations with Israeli authorities regarding a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.
