Bakery Prices to Remain Unchanged Despite Lower Gas Costs

In a press conference held today, the President of the Bakery Owners Association, N.K. Jayawardena, stated that reducing the prices of bread and bakery products is not feasible at this time.

Jayawardena explained that the cost of raw materials remains high, which prevents any price reductions. He emphasized that a mere decrease in gas prices is insufficient to lower the overall cost of bakery products.
