Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) announced that it will commence the sale of Octane 100 petrol at several of its petrol stations starting this afternoon. With this move, Sri Lanka will become the eighth country in the world to offer 100 octane petrol, which will be priced at 793 rupees per liter.
According to LIOC, Octane 100 petrol is particularly well-suited for modern vehicles. The company highlights that this high-octane fuel can enhance vehicle performance by ensuring smoother running, higher mileage, and greater engine capacity.
