Bohra Conference and Exhibition Set to Enrich Sri Lanka’s Cultural Landscape


From July 7th to 16th, the Bohra Conference and Exhibition is set to take place at Bambalapitiya Bohra Mosque and the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Center.

This event coincides with the spiritual conference of the Bohra community scheduled for this year in Karachi, Pakistan.

Mr. Sagala Ratnayake, Senior Advisor to the President and Head of the Presidential Staff, has instructed relevant officials to extend maximum support to ensure its success.

A special meeting was convened yesterday afternoon (24) at the President’s Office to discuss the Bohra conference and exhibition.

According to a statement from the Presidential Media Division, specific directives were issued during the meeting.

Approximately fifteen thousand members of the Bohra community from various countries, including India, are expected to attend this exhibition and conference in Sri Lanka.

Therefore, extensive discussions were held regarding the provision of necessary infrastructure, including airport facilities, to accommodate them.
