In a disturbing turn of events, less than a month after the plane crash of the Iranian president, the aircraft carrying Malawi’s Vice President, Saulos Chilima, has disappeared.
The military plane, en route from the capital Lilongwe to Mzuzu International Airport, vanished during the 45-minute flight. Search operations have been launched amid fears that the plane may have crashed.
The 51-year-old Vice President was traveling 370 kilometers to Mzuzu when the incident occurred, plunging the nation into uncertainty and concern.
