The Batticaloa District Convention of the Democratic Youth Congress was held at the Batticaloa Library Auditorium. The conference was attended by Democratic Youth Congress leader K. Arjun. Under the chairmanship of Mr. Arjuna, many youth leaders and civic activists from the Batticaloa district of the Democratic Youth Congress joined the event.
In this program, Democratic Youth Congress leader K. Arjuna said that the people of the North and East raised their voices alone for their rights, and that will change in the future. For that, the support of the youth and civil activists of the South of the Democratic Youth Congress will be given.
He further said that no matter what challenge comes, the necessary influence to strengthen the provincial council system and give full powers to the provincial councils will be done by bringing together civil activists of the Democratic Youth Congress.
