UNP Akuressa Organizer and Working Committee Member Dinuk Colombage said that last night, an electoral office in Akuressa that was supporting Presidential candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe was vandalized.
“Our rivals have attempted to defeat us on policy grounds, but the public has rejected their empty promises,” Colombage remarked in response to the incident. They are now threatening our campaign headquarters and supporters in an attempt to intimidate us. This will not work either.”
