The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced a revision in fuel prices, effective from midnight today (31st). The price adjustments are as follows:
- Petrol 92: Reduced by Rs. 12 (New price: Rs. 332)
- Petrol 95: Reduced by Rs. 2 (New price: Rs. 377)
- Auto Diesel: Reduced by Rs. 10 (New price: Rs. 307)
- Super Diesel: Reduced by Rs. 3 (New price: Rs. 352)
Certain fuel kinds, such as kerosene, which will continue to be sold for Rs. 202 per litre, have maintained their prices in the meantime.
Sinopec and Sri Lanka IOC have also stated that they intend to reduce their fuel prices to reflect these modifications.
