The Ministry of Education has announced that the second term for both government and government-approved private schools will conclude today, August 16, 2024. This applies to all Sinhala and Tamil medium schools across the country.
Schools will observe a holiday from today until Sunday, August 25, 2024. Classes are set to resume with the start of the third term on Monday, August 26, 2024.
