The Navagamuwa Police report that the Colombo-Avissawella Low Level Road has been obstructed due to a fallen branch of a bo tree in the Ranala Sudawila area. This incident has also caused damage to several electricity poles, resulting in a power outage in the locality.
In response, the police have implemented temporary measures to restrict the passage of heavy vehicles. Traffic is being redirected at Wewila Junction and Siambala Gas Junction to ensure safety and facilitate repair work.
Authorities are working to clear the debris and restore normal traffic and power supply as soon as possible.
