Mammootty and Mohanlal to Reunite for Film Shot in Sri Lanka

Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena was recently met at Araliyagaha Mandiraya by Joseph Anto Athirampuzha, President of the Malayalam Film Producers Association (MFPA), and well-known directors Narayanan Mahesh and C. V. Sarathi.

They disclosed plans to film an innovative Malayalam movie in Sri Lanka this November during the meeting. Legendary actors Mammootty and Mohanlal will feature in the movie, which will be their first joint picture appearance in twenty years.

The filming of the project is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka for 30 days, with further scenes to be recorded in Kerala, Delhi, and London. Mahesh, the director, made it clear that he anticipated this movie will smash box office records and generate talk in the business.

Prime Minister Gunawardena conveyed his gratitude for the choice to film in Sri Lanka, highlighting the country’s picturesque film sites, potential to increase foreign exchange profits, and promotion of tourism.

Thilina Subasinghe, Karthik Nadarajah, Director of the Tower Hall Foundation, Counselor Sugiswara Senadhira, and Member of Parliament Yadamini Gunawardena were also present at the meeting.
