US Rapper Fatman Scoop Dies After On-Stage Collapse

US rapper Fatman Scoop, widely known for his 2003 hit “Be Faithful,” has passed away at the age of 53. According to reports from foreign media, the artist collapsed while performing at Hamden Town Center Park in Connecticut on Friday evening.

The rapper unexpectedly fainted during the concert, according to town chief of staff Sean Grace, who verified the occurrence with local authorities. Prior to Fatman Scoop being taken to a hospital, concertgoers and paramedics sought to assist him in the event of a medical emergency, as Mayor Lauren Garrett confirmed on Facebook.

In an Instagram message, the rapper’s family said that “a radiant soul” had passed away and referred to him as “a beacon on stage and in life.” They added that family members would always remember him as “the laughter in our lives, a constant source of support, unwavering strength, and courage.”
