The schedule of matches for the 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup, which will begin on October 3 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Ten teams total, split into two groups, will compete in the tournament. South Africa, England, the West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland make up Group B, while Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka make up Group A.
Sri Lanka and Scotland qualified for the World Cup after winning the qualifying event that was held in Abu Dhabi earlier this year. Sri Lanka won the championship.
Due to recent political unrest in Bangladesh, the tournament—which was originally scheduled to take place there—was moved to the United Arab Emirates.
