Former Sri Lankan cricket captain Tillakaratne Dilshan has officially pledged his support for opposition leader Sajith Premadasa in the upcoming presidential election. In a strategic move, Dilshan has been appointed as the Kalutara District, Beruwala organizer for the Samagi Jana Balawega (SJB) party. This position was previously held by Parliamentarian Rajitha Senaratne, who has since vacated the seat. Dilshan’s new role is expected to bolster the SJB’s campaign efforts in the region.
