The International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued sanctions against three individuals implicated in corruption during the 2021 Abu Dhabi T10 League. Pune Devils’ batting coach Ashar Zaidi, along with team owners Parag Sanghavi and Krishan Chaudhry, has been found guilty following an admission of wrongdoing.

Zaidi has received a five-year ban from cricket, while Sanghavi and Chaudhry are each banned for two years. However, the enforcement of last year’s penalties has been suspended. The sanctions are set to commence on September 19, 2023, meaning Sanghavi and Chaudhry will be eligible to return to the sport on September 19, 2024, and Zaidi will be reinstated on September 19, 2027.
