In a recent event at the President’s Office, President Ranil Wickramasinghe met with approximately 280 undergraduate law students from the Sri Lanka Open University. The meeting was part of President Wickramasinghe’s initiative to offer students educational opportunities by organizing visits to significant locations in Colombo, including the Presidential Secretariat, the Presidential Palace, Port City, the Central Bank, and Parliament.
During their visit, the law students had the chance to engage in a friendly discussion with President Wickramasinghe, who addressed their questions and concerns related to the legislature, executive, and judiciary. The President provided valuable insights into these areas and shared his perspectives on their queries.
The event concluded with a group photo session, capturing the memorable interaction between the President and the aspiring legal professionals. Also present at the meeting were President’s Secretary Saman Ekanayake, President’s Legal Adviser Bimba Thilakaratne, and Assistant Director of the Office of the President’s Secretariat, Major Nadika Dangolla.
