In a significant boost for Sri Lanka’s tourism sector, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has reported that the island welcomed 127,925 tourists in the last three weeks.
The influx was led by visitors from India, who numbered 30,442. Additionally, tourists from Britain, China, Germany, and the Netherlands also contributed to the impressive figures.
So far this year, Sri Lanka has attracted a total of 1,138,174 tourists, highlighting a robust recovery in the tourism industry.
