DIG Attorney Ruwan Gunasekara has been appointed as the Acting Police Media Spokesperson. This appointment follows the departure of Deputy Inspector General of Police Nihal Thalduwa, who is currently abroad for personal reasons. Upon his return, DIG Thalduwa will resume his role as the Police Media Spokesman.
