The Disciplinary Committee of the Lanka Premier League has fined fast bowler Dilshan Madhushanka 10 percent of his match fee and issued a penalty mark against him.
Sri Lanka Cricket announced that Madhushanka was penalized for breaching Section 2.5 of the Code of Conduct, which is considered a level one offense. The incident occurred during the match between Dambulla Sixers and Galle Marvelous.
The violation involved Madhushanka reacting insultingly or inappropriately following the dismissal of a batsman. During the investigation, he pleaded guilty to the charges.
