Arundika Fernando, a member of parliament for Puttalam District who represents the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), declared today, April 4, that he will be serving as an independent MP going forward.
Earlier today, Fernando, who is also the State Minister of Housing and Urban Development, declared as much in a statement before Parliament.
