In response to recent media reports, the Department of Examinations has refuted claims regarding the imminent release of General Certificate of Education (GCE) results for the year 2023. Deputy Commissioner of Examinations clarified that the focus is currently on the release of results for the General Information Technology (GIT) examination.
The GCE examinations for the year 2023 were conducted from May 6th to 15th across 3,527 examination centers nationwide. A total of 452,979 candidates participated in the exams, with 387,648 being school applicants and 65,331 private applicants.
