WEATHER FORECAST FOR 10 SEPTEMBER 2025

Several spells of showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Northwestern provinces and in Galle, Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Eastern and Uva provinces and in Mullaitivu district after 1.00 p.m. Fairly heavy showers above 50 mm are likely at some places.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
