The Landslide Early Warning Center of the National Building Research Organization [NBRO] has issued landslide early warnings to the districts of Badulla, Galle, Gampaha, Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Matara, Mathale, Monaragala, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura.The warnings issued at 1900 hrs today will be effective for the next 24 hours

Level II landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions and surrounding areas of Udunuwara and Ududumbara in the Kandy district, Kegalle, Bulathkohupitiya and Yatiyanthota in the Kegalle district and Pallepola and Ambanganga Korale in the Matale district
Level I landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions and surrounding areas of Haldumulla and Uva Paranagama in the Badulla district, Neluwa in the Galle district, Attanagalla in the Gampaha district, Delthota and Doluwa in the Kandy district, Mawanella, Ruwanwella, Aranayake and Rambukkana in the Kegalle district, Alawwa and Rideegama in the Kurunegala district, Ukuwela, Rattota and Yatawatte in the Matale district, Pitabeddara in the Matara district, Medagama in the Monaragala district, Ambagamuwa, Hanguranketha and Walapane in the Nuwara Eliya district, and Kalawana, Imbulpe, Eheliyagoda and Weligepola in the Ratnapura district
