The Railway Department announced that the planned revision of the online seat reservation time, which was set to take effect from today (1st), will not be implemented.
Initially, seat allotment through the online system was scheduled to start at 7:00 pm daily. The new plan aimed to change the start time to 10:00 am. However, due to technical issues within the system, the decision was made to maintain the current schedule.
Deputy General Manager of the Railway Department, Mr. M.N.J Indipolage, confirmed, “Due to technical problems in the system, we have decided to keep the seat allotment time the same as before.”
