A dead body has been discovered on Wadduwa-Pohaddaramulla beach, with suspicions that the victim was killed by having his face tied with his T-shirt.
The police report that the identity of the deceased, who was found wearing blue denim pants and white socks, remains unknown. The victim is estimated to be between 40-45 years old.
Officials from the Panadura Division Crime Scene Investigation Laboratory are set to examine the scene. Investigations are being led by Acting Police Inspector Gayan Kahatapitiya, Commander (Acting) of Wadduwa Station.
