Katunayake International Airport welcomed the arrival of 35 specially trained dogs for the Police Official Dog Division early this morning. Imported from the renowned K10 Working dogs, a private animal farm in the Netherlands, the total expenditure for these dogs amounts to 58 million rupees.
The imported batch includes 13 Belgian Malinois, 12 German Shepherds, and 10 English Spaniels. Among these 35 dogs, 21 are females, aged between 8 and 12 months.
