Wijeyadasa’s restriction continues as ordered by the Colombo Additional District Judge. Mr. Chandima Edirimanna, the Colombo Additional District Judge, has ruled today to extend the restriction preventing Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe from assuming the role of Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and his membership acceptance until the 25th.

This extension comes after State Minister Mr. Lasantha Alagiyawanna brought a case against Sarath Ekanayake, Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, Acting General Secretary Keerthi Udawatta, and Patron Maithripala Sirisena on the 28th.

Additionally, the injunction against the appointment of Keerthi Udawatta as Acting General Secretary, Acting General Secretary Duminda Dissanayake, and President Nimal Siripala de Silva from interfering with party activities has also been prolonged as per the order of the Additional District Judge.
